Create a setting.
Music, decor and themes all add to
the mood of an event - use them to bring it all together.
Get everyone involved.
In addition to inflatables
and individual carnival games, try a few relays and group
activities. This gives everyone a chance to get to know each
other, as well as socialize with those they already know.
Book as soon as
possible. This is
important for you to find and reserve the equipment you want,
and also gives you time to find the right supplies, decor and
prizes for the event at the lowest cost.
Keep your group's ages
and interests in mind.
If the event is all ages, be sure to
have activities that are suitable for younger kids, as well as
teens and adults.
Make sure you have
enough activities.
Waiting in long lines to participate
in activities tends to make the event less exciting, no matter
how fun the inflatables and games are. A prize booth is also a
great way to help remedy this.
Be prepared for hot
weather. Try and pick
an event site that has plenty of shade, and don't forget to have
cold drinks and water available!
Check with your venue
on event regulations.
Some parks don't allow dunk tanks
and other water games because of city regulations.
Get a volunteer crew to
help out.
This will take a
chunk out of your event price that you can use to add more fun
activities to the event. |
